New England fans can breathe again. Fans around the rest of the NFL will sigh in disappointment. The Patriots’ Tom Brady will be returning to the NFL again next week, most likely. He injured his shoulder in a hard hit by the Redskins’ Haynesworth and the team decided to pull him out, watch the other quarterbacks, and let him recouperate. After all, it’s just the preseason. The games don’t mean much and it gave the backups a chance to jump in at a moment’s notice and see what they can do. Brady has some bumps and bruises and probably will be sore for awhile still. But he’s going to be ok. It’s not a longterm injury or anything, so Pats fans can relax a bit!
