White Sox Making a Big Push

In the last two weeks, the Chicago White Sox have made some really big moves on the market. They are bringing in Jake Peavy, who will certainly be a good pitcher whenever he’s able to stand on a mound again. Just the other day, they signed Alex Rios from the Blue Jays, taking on his expensive contract as well. Rios will add defensively, but some commentators are wondering if it will be possible for them to get him into a real batting groove yet. He’ll be better than Jermaine Dye, who’s been batting .200 or something small like that. But with these two additions, the team is trying to address some of its biggest difficulties this season, and it will be fun to watch them try to play up to that standard!
