DeRosa Quiet in First Game with Cards

Mark DeRosa was traded from the Cleveland Indians over the weekend to the St. Louis Cardinals. This will surely come as a shock and a source of anger for the hordes of Chicago Cubs fans, who saw DeRosa traded after last season. We was strong for the Cubs last season and looked like he was going to do a good job with the Indians this year. He was really one of the few highlights on a greatly struggling Cleveland team. Instead, the Indians’ front office decided to cash him in early and send him over to St. Louis. He was put in batting cleanup after Albert Pujols. He didn’t get all that much done, but he’d been in town for a full 15 hours before the game, so it’ll take a little adjustment. We’ll see what happens with him in several upcoming Chicago series coming up soon!
