Yao to Cleveland?

Yao Ming has discounted rumors of an impending trade to the Cleveland Cavaliers as unknown. He’s been with the Houston Rockets since he entered the league in 2003. They haven’t won a championship in that time, but they have improved markedly and they made it deep into the playoffs this season, nearly beating the Lakers in the second round. But the news broke that a team of Chinese investors just put a lot of money into the Cavaliers, setting off a wave of speculation about whether the Cavs were looking to boost their full court by getting Yao on their team. It’s going to be exciting to see what happens, because the Cavs would be very hard to beat with him on their team. They need to get some other strong players, but it’s not clear exactly whom else they might choose.
