When Floyd Mayweather Jr and Juan Manuel Marquez jump into the boxing ring this summer, it will be a major battle. Mayweather hasn’t fought since December of 2007, when he knocked out Ricky Hatton. Previous to that, he had beaten Oscar De La Hoya in 12 rounds to become the World Champion again. He has been the world champion in 5 different divisions and hasn’t lost a match. You might’ve also seen him on Dancing with the Stars in the last couple years. Marquez is a little bit less accomplished, but no less tough. He has almost beaten one of the best in the sport, Manny Pacquiao, twice and is a five-time world champion. He has been training in Central Mexico, because he expects Mayweather to be at the top of his game in the coming battle. It should be a lot of fun to see them fight it out, so get cheap boxing tickets and you can be right in the action!
