Lots of rumors are rising and falling around Brett Favre these days. He was in the talks with Minnesota Vikings and the media was acting like they’d signed a 10 year deal. But his agent came forward and said that in fact he wasn’t looking to come back at all. Then he released a statement saying that he was retired “at this time” and on and on it went. Some people are hoping that he returns to the league, but a lot of people are tired of hearing about it. Now he’s back in the news with a report that he was going to have surgery on his torn arm tendon. But then, since I started writing this entry, it was determined that he actually had no appointment to do so after all. So there is no clarity in the story and he’s going to keep us guessing for awhile yet.
