Suddenly, the wheels came off the wagon yesterday when it was announced that Manny Ramirez has been suspended from baseball for 50 games, having tested positive for a drug that was not approved by the MLB. He says that his doctor prescribed it for a medical reason and he didn’t realize it was not allowed. But many people are not pleased about it and not impressed with his candor. This is a problem that comes up again and again for a lot of the top players in the league. Hopefully he’ll be able to clean up but a lot of people think that he’ll be unable to regain his position as a respected player after this.
