Woods Not Out of the Woods

Tiger Woods shot 1 under 71 in the opening round today. This is his second tournament this year, after having been out for more than 8 months with a knee injury. It’s going to be a difficult year for him, because it always takes awhile to get into the swing of things after such an injury, but he’s going to be working on it some more. He left the first tournament awhile back because he wasn’t good enough, and he was hoping to keep going more after this first round this week. But he’s doing better than the last tournament, and then he’ll be able to jump in and dominate again at some point. But obviously he’s disappointed at this result at this point. He had hoped to be in the leading position or close to it and it’s just not happening quite yet.
