The Arizona Cardinals beat the Atlanta Falcons this Saturday, by a score of 30-24. The Cardinals have now had consecutive home-field playoff wins. The last one was in 1947, when the Cardinals were still in Chicago and won the national football championship. This time, they are on their way to the second round of the playoffs. No one really thought they’d make it. Atlanta isn’t that great a team this year, but Arizona got to the playoffs with a record that might’ve been .500 but just barely. They are one of the worst teams in the NFL this year, but they have taken the first round just fine. Arizona’s Kurt Warner has finally won another playoff game himself, his first since he took the 2001 Super Bowl.
