The thicket of the playoffs
Posted on Jan 02, 2009 under Uncategorized |We’re at the beginning of the playoffs and tomorrow will bring the first postseason game between Baltimore and the Dolphins. While the NFL playoffs are easily the most exciting time of the football year, it comes with the bittersweet price of knowing that each game brings us closer to the end of the season, and a football-less life. Since my team is no longer in the running, I’ve sided with the Eagles for their incredible come-out-of-nowhere entrance into the playoffs. The Wild Card team doesn’t traditionally have the best chance at taking the Super Bowl crown, but they are playing some of the best football in the league right now. Plus, it happened for the Giants last year. With any luck, Eagles NFL playoff tickets will be available for two more games after Sunday’s matchup with Minnesota.
