Favre fitting in

In week 2, the Jets and Patriots met at the Meadowlands. They will meet again this week in New England. The Patriots, looking at the films from the first week, noticed that Favre was looking a little bit off with his new team. But looking at the tapes from last week, in preparation for the next game, he looks much more at ease with the New York system and their way of playing. Quarterbacks have it tough in this league, because offensive systems are so complicated these days and they have to learn and execute several hundred plays and different iterations of the same plays. So I can imagine how hard it is to switch teams as a QB. Anyway, he’s looking better and the Jets seem to be much closer to contention than we might have expected at the beginning of the season.
