Chicago vs. New England: MLS Playoffs
Posted on Nov 03, 2008 under Uncategorized |
Last Thursday night, the Chicago Fire played to a 0-0 draw against the New England Revolution. The teams are trying to get the MLS championship this year and have some stiff competition. In the game, Chicago scored a header, but it was negated on review and so there was no point. These two teams have met in the last 4 playoffs, and New England has won it 4 out of the 6 meetings overall. But Chicago has won the championship before. So it’s up for grabs and there’s no real sense that either of these teams can dominate over the other one. It will definitely be an amazing series and we’ll see where it goes from here. The series is determined by the total goals scored, rather than games won.
