Kobe Bryant helps Lakers to end their winning drought

The Los Angeles Lakers had to render the overtime services of Kobe Bryant to beat the Washington Wizards 126-120 in a closely fought game of basketball last Sunday night. Kobe scored his last six points in the overtime and ended as the top scorer for the Lakers with 26 points. His talent in this sport was well appreciated and he received extraordinary reviews for his outstanding play from the Lakers bench.

With this win, the Lakers also put an end to their losing streak of two games and they recorded their 50th victory of the season for the 29th time in their NBA history. Bryant was in complete control of the game during the overtime and hit three consecutive free throws to put his team in the lead during overtime. The Wizards could not score in the final one and a half odd minutes and the match was watched by Los Angeles Galaxy soccer and ones of world’s top sports icon David Beckham from the courtside.
