Whittle happy about re-union with Buffalo
Posted on Mar 10, 2008 under buffalo bills |It was a dream comes true for Jason Whittle, to get re-entry to the Buffalo Bills. He was very pleased to be re-signed on the first day of the free agency along with Derrick Dockery and Langston Walker. This veteran was doing a good job as center and guard but was placed on injured reserve on the third week due to torn hamstring. It took about 11 weeks for him to heel as it tore off from bone. Whittle is perfect now, except for a small pull in the back of his leg. Whittle got his entry to Buffalo as they were very badly in need of an aggressive line depth.
Kirk and Duke were the only linemen in the team with decent amount of experience. Bobby April, the special team coordinator had some plans for Whittle in the special team. April feels that Whittle is critical to the teams’ success as he is smart, athletic and tough. Whittle has high respect for the line coach Sean Kugler and thinks that he is awesome as an offensive line coach as well as in employing techniques. Whittle is very anxious to start his season with the Buffalo Bills as his last season was ruined by injury and the term with Bills are appearing really promising to him.
