The Manchester United team must be mighty pleased with the result they achieved on Tuesday night when their star winger, Cristiano Ronaldo scored a goal to make it the 30th goal in this season in as many games and guided the team into the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League. The United legend Paddy Crerand is absolutely certain that Ronaldo will surpass the 23 year old record of George Best for a maximum of 32 goals in a season. Paddy said that what Ronaldo has achieved thus far is an incredible feat and compliments the Portuguese national for keeping on playing well day in and day out.

A striker will be on top of the world with a record such as Ronaldo’s and Paddy rates Ronaldo to be among the best players of the English Premiership of all times. He reminds everyone that Ronaldo is not yet finished for this season and that he expects him to score many more during this season itself. He adds that the goals of Ronaldo have come in situations when his team Manchester United needed it the most. He is an absolute asset to the team’s cause for the final stages of the season. Paddy only hoped that his rich vein of form continues throughout this season.
