The Detroit Lions are rebuilding their football team for next season. This season went downhill as one of their quarterbacks injured his knee at training camp. This took him out for the season due to he had to have surgery.

After making a record of seventy one touchdowns, running 5,100 yards, and being in five Pro Bowls, Mile Alstott of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is retiring. He had to stay on the bench for most of 2007 because of a neck injury at training camp for The Wide World of Sports.

The FA cup over in England has been a hot ticket lately. Arsenal is going up against their arch nemesis, Manchester United. Manchester is the current leader, but it could be anyone’s game. This is an event you don’t want to miss.

The Atlanta Falcons are looking for a new head coach. They have set their sights on Steve Spagnuolo. Spagnuolo is taking the high roads and focusing on getting through the playoffs before meeting up wit the Falcon owners. He has led the New York Giants to three wins in a row and not considered a hot commodity. The Falcons seem to be chomping at the bit to get a hold of this guy for the head coaching position.
