The latest FA cup draws for the fifth round of the FA cup in England has been released and promises exciting matches. The main thriller to watch is between eleven times FA cup winners, Arsenal and against Manchester United who has won it for twelve times. The match promises to be a thriller as both teams are definite rivals, no matter the level they meet. Manchester united is currently leading the premiership table with goals difference but only with goals difference as they are tied on points with Arsenal.
The match promises to be a cracker and would definitely be followed worldwide by the lovers of the game. Manchester and Arsenal are currently on top form and you can only guess what would happen when Arsene Wenger and his lads pay visit to Alex Ferguson in Old Trafford. Many would say that Arsenal might just be affected by its African players who are competing in the ongoing African Nations cup. A number of African Arsenal key players are not on their line up.
The draws were conducted by former Chelsea captain Ray Wilkins and ex-Liverpool star Jimmy Casse and got televised live on BBC2 and sky sport news. Other draws expected includes Bristol Rovers v Southampton, Sheffield United v Middlesbrough, Cardiff City v Wolves, Preston v Portsmouth, Liverpool v Barnsley, Chelsea v Huddersfield Town, Coventry City v West Brom. The FA 5th round matches would be played on the 16th and 17th of February.

Drew Stanton and T.J. Duckett want to be a bigger part of the Detroit Lions’ rebuilding effort next season. The second-round draft pick is expected to serve as the No. 2 quarterback for the Lions. Though he spent some time on injured reserve after suffering a knee injury in training camp that required surgery. Stanton and Duckett got to be at Legends Sports & Games at Centerpointe Mall for an autograph session. They met hundreds of fans.

Mike Alstott announced his retirement after 12 record-breaking. Mike spent on injured reserve after suffering his second neck injuryin the entire season 2007. Alstott had to stop fighting back tears several times. Moreover he had lots people to thank, icluding Tony Dungy. Alstott rewarded the Bucs with 5,088 career yards and six Pro Bowl appearances.

D’Marcus Spencer has a debt of gratitude to his uncle Spence Spencer. D’Marcus began excelling on the wrestling mat. Spencer won 34 matches as a freshman at Lawrence North. He got to earn his teaching certification and he took a job teaching Web design and some digital communication.
This guy never hesitated in allowing D’Marcus to move in. Plus Spence believes there’s a good chance of that this season. He dropped a 4-2 decision to East Noble’s Taylor March in the opening round. D’Marcus has won several close matches against highly ranked opponents.

The Atlanta Falcons still want to interview Steve Spagnuolo. They want him for their vacant head-coaching position.But it’s clear as mud whether they are able to wait two weeks. Spagnuolo denied the Falcons’ request for an interview because he wanted to focus on his payoffs. Falcons would have to wait until after Super Bowl XLII on Feb. 3.Had the Giants lost to the Packers. The Falcons would ask Spagnuolo to meet this week. The team could talk to Spagnuolo this week only if it was a second interview.

The Wings will have a target practice with the Huntington Beach police in what Babcock. Players and their dads are supposed to be divided into groups. The Red Wings had a paintball excursion during their November trip to St. Louis. Monday’s outing fits great into the schedule.The team didn’t practice Sunday and the player didn’t study ballistics in preparation.

If you want to see the 2007 National League Western Division Champion Arizona Diamondbacks, Chicago White Sox in Tucson , you should now that the tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. at Tucson Electric Park. Each club will play 15 home games at Tucson Electric Park. The Rockies are going to have a trip from Hi Corbett Field to play the D-backs or White Sox.The Cubs, Kansas City Royals, Los Angeles Angels, Milwaukee Brewers, San Diego Padres, San Francisco Giants, Seattle Mariners. Texas Rangers will make some trips to Tucson to play only one game against the D-backs and White Sox.

Chris Shelton was cut by the Texas Rangers.They wanted him for assignment to make room on the 40-man roster for Kazuo Fukumori.Shelton agreed to a $3 million. He was obtained from Detroit for Freddy Guzman. Though Shelton spent last season with Triple-A Toledo. He was Detroit’s opening-day first baseman in 2006. Plus Chris got off to an outstanding start and then he has been sent to minors.

Marc Savard, a memeber of Boston Bruins, joined the Eastern Conference All-Star team.He suffered a separated right shoulder in the Senators’ 3-2 win. Savard leads the Bruins with 47 points. He is going to make his first All-Star game appearance in his 10th NHL season. Moreover he played 184 games over three seasons with Atlanta.
